Big Books
The Learning Workshop is a great source for some wonderful taped big books. Our children enjoyed the music and activities included in the activity packets that came in The Gingerbread Village packet. Included in this packet with The Gingerbread Village, was music and cards to a story called The Cookie Snatcher. We used this story to introduce the math concept of "taking away" using cutout cookies as manipulatives. With the cute musical lyrics, this became an instant hit!
