AB430 Administrators' Training

AB430 provides professional development funding for school administrator using State Board of Education (SBE)-approved training providers in the knowledge necessary for the complex roles of instructional leaders. This training ensures the leadership, infrastructure, and support for full implementation of effective instructional programs to improve student achievement. Staff development is provided to site administrators in three areas:

• Module I: Leadership and Support of Student Instructional Programs Based upon the district/site-adopted text 40 hours of training and 40 hours of practicum (documented)
• Module II: Leadership and Management, School Finances and Human Resources 20 hours of training and 20 hours of practicum (documented)
• Module III: Instructional Technology to Improve Pupil Performance 20 hours of training and 20 hours of practicum (documented)
