Education Support Services

The Education Support Services (ESS) Division works collaboratively with schools and districts to accelerate student achievement and provide a standards-based and enriched curriculum. ESS has a "turn on the dime" policy of providing quality service to No Child Left Behind sanctioned schools and districts--working with the whole school community as a system. At the same time, the division provides service to classrooms and schools to help all students achieve at the highest levels. In carrying out this work, the Education Support Services Division:

  • Provides support to schools and districts to substantially accelerate and sustain student achievement over the long-term.
  • Provides support to schools and districts in implementing systemic reform.
  • Provides support to schools, districts and communities in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating district/school programs and grants.
  • Provides support to new, experienced and aspiring administrators and teacher leaders.
  • Assists schools and districts in increasing the college-going rates and career-readiness for every student group, providing special focus and support for special education students, English learners and students in poverty.
  • Assists schools and districts in designing and implementing technology to improve student results.
  • Works collaboratively with schools, districts, and communities to establish high need services and effective, customized service delivery.
