District Accountability Support

Professional Development Offerings At-A-Glance

The District Accountability Support Department provides technical assistance and support to (1) schools and districts participating in state and federal accountability programs and (2) schools and districts wanting to enhance their school improvement efforts. Services are customized to address the unique needs of the district and/or schools throughout the program planning and implementation stages:

Technical Assistance and Support Services: An experienced and knowledgeable staff collaboratively tailors a comprehensive service plan that includes core (required) services:

  • District/School Leadership Team (DSLT) and School Leadership Team (SLT)
  • School and/or district assessment needs/data collection and reporting processes
  • District and site program plan development (LEAP, single plan for student achievement, Title 3-Year 4)
  • Academic Program Survey (APS) and District Academic Survey (DAS); Capacity Studies
  • On-site walk-throughs and/or walk-through training
  • Data analysis training (summative and formative uses)
  • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
  • PI, DAIT, SAIT, Title 3-Year 4, QEIA, HPSG, restructuring program services
  • Assist with developing, revising, aligning, and monitoring implementation of program plans (e.g., LEA Plan, Single Plan for Student Achievement [SPSA], Title III-Year 4 Plans, etc.)
  • Additional services include on-site support and Program Development and coordination of services, and Alternative Governance Boards

  • BTTP - Bilingual Teacher Training Program
  • ELPD - English Learners Professional Development & Promise Initiative
