County Committee Re-elects 3 Board Members

MORENO VALLEY - The San Bernardino County Committee on School District Organization re-elected to four-year terms three incumbents at a fall joint meeting with Riverside County on Oct. 29.

Re-elected to their positions were J. Peter Lounsbury, who represents the First Supervisorial District; Stan Weisser, who represents the Third Supervisorial District; and Paul Treadway, who represents the Fourth Supervisorial District.

The voting for the positions was conducted by representatives of each of the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County, as well as its five community college districts.

The 11-member committee deals with proposed changes to school district organization issues, including number of trustees, trustee and school district boundary areas, and unification. County Committee members cannot be employed by a school district in any county, community college district or county superintendent office.
