Family Reading Rally At Cal State San Bernardino On May 14

SAN BERNARDINO - Families are invited to attend a free Family Reading Rally on May 14 at California State University, San Bernardino.

The rally will focus on vital skills of reading with families, schools and communities. The event will feature the Flights of Fantasy Story Theatre, an interactive and dynamic story-telling experience.

Free books for children, as well as workshops, snacks, arts and crafts, will be available.

The event is for parents, grandparents and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the rally is targeted for children from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

The rally begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. Cal State San Bernardino is located at 5500 University Parkway in San Bernardino.

The event is co-sponsored by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, Cal State San Bernardino's College of Education and Target.
