California League Of High Schools Announces Regional Honorees

2010-11-30

SAN BERNARDINO - Eighteen teachers, administrators, leaders and business honorees have been selected to receive California League of High Schools Region 10 awards at a banquet on Dec. 8.

The honorees from San Bernardino and Riverside counties will be recognized at the event, which will be held at the Riverside Marriott. Among the teacher recipients this year are:

  • John Ameluxen, Ayala High School in the Chino Valley Unified School District;
  • Kimberly A. Breaux, Needles High School in Needles Unified;
  • Judy Browder, Twin Palms Continuation High School, Palo Verde Unified;
  • Marta Chavez, Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa Regional Occupational Program;
  • Wendy Henderson-Ditchfield, Rialto High School, Rialto Unified;
  • Michelle Laramie, Sherman Indian High School, Bureau of Indian Education;
  • Joseph May, Desert Hot Springs High School, Palm Springs Unified;
  • Donna Parker, West Valley High School, Hemet Unified;
  • John Perez, Santiago High School, Corona-Norco Unified;
  • Erik Petersen, University Prep, Victor Valley Union High School District.

Eight others will be recognized as outstanding administrator, leader and business honorees. They are:

  • Joe Aguanno, Palm Springs High School, Palm Springs Unified;
  • Mike Barney, Riverside County Office of Education;
  • Vicki Broberg, Chino Valley Unified;
  • Robert Denham, University of Redlands;
  • Mike Horton, Riverside County Office of Education;
  • Martinrex Kedziora, Hemet Unified;
  • James Ramos, chairman of the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians;
  • R. Alex Saucedo, Toyota Corporation.
