Frisbie Middle School to Compete in Student Technology Showcase

PALM SPRINGS -- San Bernardino and Riverside County students have been selected to participate in the California Student Technology Showcase sponsored by the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP), California Department of Education and Computer Using Educators (CUE) in a statewide event in Palm Springs on March 12.

Students from the following Inland Empire schools and districts will present their technology projects at the Palm Springs Convention Center/Wyndham Hotel:

Frisbie Middle School, Rialto Unified School District;

Mira Loma Middle, Jurupa Unified School District;

Mission Middle School, Jurupa Unified School District;

Jurupa Middle School , Jurupa Unified School District;

Indio Middle School, Desert Sands Unified School District;

Palm Desert Middle School, Desert Sands Unified School District;

Vista Heights Middle School, Moreno Valley Unified School District;

Val Verde High School, Val Verde Unified School District;

Coachella Unified School District.

This free event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 12 is open to the public and will feature students from across the state presenting exemplary projects that connect technology with standards-based curriculum.
