Foster Care Awareness Resource Fair In Victorville On May 22

VICTORVILLE - There will be a free Foster Care Awareness Day Symposium and Resource Fair on May 22 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Victor Valley College.

The event is for foster youth and parents, as well as social workers, educators, counselors, faith-based leaders, child welfare professionals, counselors or anyone seeking information concerning foster youth services.

While the event is free, it is limited to the first 200 people who register.

Lunch will be catered by Alberto's Mexican Food, and entertainment will be provided by Monette "Mo'Poetic" Miles and Music Changing Lives.

The symposium and resource fair is being hosted by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools' Foster Youth Services in partnership with Victor Valley College, the Children's Network and the Greater Hope Foundation.
