Week Of Young Child Family Fairs To Be Held April 17-24

SAN BERNARDINO - Family fairs celebrating the Week of the Young Child will be held in three San Bernardino County locations the week of April 17-24.

The three family fairs will take place at:

• San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands (2024 Orange Tree Lane) on April 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
• Victor Valley College (18422 Bear Valley Road) on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
• The High Desert Church-Kids Matter in Victorville (14545 Hook Blvd.) on April 24 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

The family fairs are a collaborative effort of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools' KidsNCare program, First 5 San Bernardino, the Child Care Planning Council, county Preschool Services Department and Victor Valley College.

The Week of the Child honors young children annually and is a chance to thank teachers and those who make a difference in the lives of youth. The family fairs will call attention to the importance of high quality, early learning opportunities for children and their families.
