County Schools Educators To Receive Regional Awards

SAN BERNARDINO - Five San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools employees have been selected to receive California League of High Schools Region 10 awards at a banquet on Dec. 2.

They are among 17 educators from San Bernardino and Riverside counties who will be honored at the event, which will be held at the Riverside Marriott.

Among the County Schools' recipients this year are:

• Beth Higbee, assistant superintendent of Education Support Services;
• Margaret Hill, assistant superintendent of Administrative Services;
• Miceal Kelly, Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) curriculum specialist;
• Leslie Rodden, director of Higher Education and Work Force Development;
• Wanda Schneider, AVID program manager.

"We are extremely proud of the work that is being recognized by these outstanding educators," County Superintendent Gary Thomas said. "The California League of High Schools is a prestigious honor, and we look forward to celebrating these accomplishments with our staff."
