County Schools Offers Free Seminar On Helping Students Achieve

SAN BERNARDINO - The Visionary Leader Institute will provide a free workshop for parents and adults involved in youth, faith-based and community outreach programs that focuses on improving academic success for all students.

The event will be held at the Valencia Ballroom at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino beginning at 10 a.m. on May 16. The registration deadline is May 1 and seating is limited to the first 300. Since the event is only for adults, no child care service will be provided. Lunch also will be available for free to all who register.

Ako Kambon, president of the Visionary Leader Institute, will be the featured presenter at the workshop. He is a nationally recognized motivational speaker and educational consultant.
