CASLE To Hold Stakeholders' Forum On Jan. 29

RANCHO CUCAMONGA - The Center for the Advancement of Smaller Learning Environments (CASLE) will hold a Stakeholders' Forum on Jan. 29 at Etiwanda Gardens.

The event will highlight its best practices and discuss issues concerning secondary school reform. The forum will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Etiwanda Gardens is located at 7576 Etiwanda Ave. in Rancho Cucamonga.

Two keynote speakers will be featured at the forum: Ako Kambon of the Visionary Leaders Institute and Victoria Stevens, a clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst and educator.

CASLE's goals are to improve academic achievement for all students; centralize and personalize schools; improve the quality of instruction and curriculum; increase parental and community involvement; and connect students to college, career and technical development.

The following high schools in San Bernardino and Riverside counties are CASLE Cohort III sites: A.B. Miller and Fontana in the Fontana Unified School District; Arroyo Valley and Cajon in San Bernardino City Unified; Barstow in Barstow Unified; Bloomington in Colton Joint Unified; Chaffey in Chaffey Joint Unified; Don Lugo in Chino Valley Unified; Palm Springs in Palm Springs Unified; and Redlands in Redlands Unified.
