2004-12-06

The San Bernardino County Board of Education elected Dr. John P. Miller as its new president of the five-member body on Dec. 6. In an unanimous vote, Miller takes over as board president and succeeds Al Waner, whose one-year term ended Monday. In addition, the board voted unanimously to elect David O. Stine as vice president. He succeeds Dr. Miller as vice president. "Following Dr. Waner's service, I look forward to continuing his leadership as board president and making sure kids come first in our public schools," Miller said.
