High School Students Can Register For Entrepreneur Forum

ONTARIO - High school students in San Bernardino County interested in attending the seventh annual Entrepreneur's Forum can register for free.

The event, which will be held on Oct.26 at the Ontario Convention Center, will feature a student session at 3:30 p.m. Jim Charkins, an economics professor at California State University, San Bernardino, will be the keynote speaker for the student portion of the forum.

The Entrepreneurship Forum is co-sponsored by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools' Alliance for Education, the City of Ontario and Estrada Strategies LLC. The convention center is located at 2000 Convention Center Way in Ontario. Seating is limited to 100 students. The forum also will feature sessions on how to develop a vision statement, networking with business owners, feature success stories by entrepreneurs and provide tops on business resources.

Partners for the event include Chaffey College; the Ontario and Fontana chambers of commerce; Citizens Business Bank No. 233; Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino; Inland Empire Women's Business Center; Service Corp Of Retired Executives; Minority Business Development Council; University of LaVerne; Small Business Administration; and Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.
