Thomas, Hill Receive New Appointments At County Schools Office

SAN BERNARDINO - Gary Thomas has been appointed deputy superintendent of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS), County Superintendent Herbert Fischer announced today.

Thomas, who previously held the title of assistant superintendent of Business Services at SBCSS, will serve as the superintendent's designee in all matters related to the SBCSS organization. He will continue in his role in charge of Business Services.

In addition to Thomas' appointment, Fischer announced that Margaret Hill will serve as interim assistant superintendent of School Linked Programs and Partnerships. She previously held a position as special assistant to Fischer, and she will replace Julian Weaver, who retired on June 30.
