County Honor Orchestra Concert Set for March 12

SAN BERNARDINO -- About 190 students will perform during the San Bernardino County Honor Orchestra Concert featuring an Elementary Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and High School Orchestra at 7 p.m. on March 12 at Pacific High School.

Guest conductors will be John Brannon of Arroyo Valley High School; Brendan McBrien of Venado Middle School in Irvine; and Andrew Osman of Long Beach Poly High School.

The annual event is co-sponsored by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, the San Bernardino County Music Educators Association, 23 participating school districts and one private school.

Participating school districts include: Alta Loma; Apple Valley Unified; Barstow Unified; Bear Valley Unified; Central; Chaffey Joint Union High; Chino Valley Unified; Colton Joint Unified; Etiwanda; Fontana Unified; Hesperia Unified; Morongo Unified; Ontario-Montclair; Redlands Unified; Rialto Unified; Rim of the World Unified; San Bernardino City Unified; Snowline Joint Unified; Upland Unified; Victor Elementary; Victor Valley Union High and Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified. Hesperia Christian School also participates.

The public is welcome to attend the concert at no cost. Pacific High School is located at 1020 Pacific Ave.
