State of Education Address By County Superintendent On March 5

SAN BERNARDINO - County Superintendent Gary Thomas will give his annual State of Education Address on March 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts, 562 W. Fourth St.

In his speech, Thomas will provide a progress report on public education in San Bernardino County, highlighting countywide accomplishments. He also will talk about the state budget situation, including the issue of the federal sequestration.

The public is invited to attend the speech. This year's theme for the address is "Leadership, Advocacy and Service."
