New Administrative Unit Announced To Succeed KidsNCare

SAN BERNARDINO - The California Department of Education has selected Child Care Resource Center of Los Angeles as the new administrative unit to succeed KidsNCare, according to San Bernardino County Superintendent Gary Thomas.

Over the next couple of months, Child Care Resource Center will begin the transition process to take over administration of services and resources for parents, their children and childcare providers. KidsNCare operates state and federally funded programs and provides services to promote quality childcare throughout San Bernardino County.

Families who receive services through KidsNCare programs should not experience any disruptions in the resources they receive during the transition process.

In March 2012, it was determined that KidsNCare would no longer contract to oversee the program, and the California Department of Education would seek a new administrative unit to replace KidsNCare.
