Registration Begins For Union Apprenticeship, Training Forum

SAN BERNARDINO - The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools will partner with the AFL-CIO Central Labor Council of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to host the 11th annual Union Apprenticeship and Training Forum - Pathway to Successful Careers that will be held on March 8 at 9 a.m.

The event will be held at the San Bernardino International Airport Authority's FBO Hangar, located at 295 N. Leland Norton Way

The forum allows participating students to interact with labor representatives from various trades and crafts to discover and learn how they might enter well-paying jobs as journeymen, and how they can earn money while they complete their apprenticeship training.

Exhibitors will provide hands-on demonstration and activities and will be able to answer questions to help students understand the requisite knowledge and skills for these trades and crafts.

Some of this year's exhibitors include the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, nursing programs, electricians, masons, operating engineers, plumbers/pipefitters, teamsters, carpenters, ironworkers and laborers.
