Payroll Compliance Services

Payroll Compliance Services provides a variety of services to school districts, including examination, approval, and initiation of payroll and voluntary deduction orders; processing and payment of state and federal payroll withholding taxes; audit and posting of pay history adjustments; processing of employee garnishments, PERS/STRS payments, and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) payments; and maintenance of the countywide signature authorization database. The department also provides technical and advisory support regarding compliance with federal and state payroll laws and serves as a resource to school districts for any number of payroll-related issues.
