Governance/Legislative Services

Governance Liaison

Governance Liaison has administrative responsibility for governmental relations programs between the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and the San Bernardino County Board of Education, San Bernardino County Committee on School District Organization, the San Bernardino County School Boards Association, and charter schools.

Legislative Services

Legislative Services provides information related to state and federal legislation that impacts education, Pre-K through postsecondary, on issues such as school facilities, school finance, curriculum and instruction, and personnel.

Legislative Services also provides support to SANDABS (San Bernardino County District Advocates for Better Schools). SANDABS is a legislative advocacy coalition of school district trustees and superintendents representing the school districts of San Bernardino County.
