403(b) Third Party Administration -
SchoolsFirst/NBS
SchoolsFirst and National Benefits
Services (NBS) are
the Third Party Administrators that will administer the
403b Tax Sheltered Annuity Plans for
school districts within San Bernardino County.
SchoolsFirst and NBS
are responsible for fulfilling IRS requirements such as
universal notification to employees, monitoring and
processing employee Salary Reduction
Agreements and auditing Maximum Allowable Contribution (MAC)
calculations. SchoolsFirst will
remit employee contributions to 403b providers and
will field
employee questions and communicate with 403b
vendors and their agents on behalf of the
district and its employees. NBS
will handle all compliance regarding the 403b plans.

of Providers -
providers listed are registered with 403(b)compare and
have signed a Hold Harmless Agreement

Salary Reduction Agreements can be mailed directly to SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union at the address listed below
or dropped off at your district Payroll office.

your computer, right-click on the link and select "Download to Disk/Save Target As" then select the
path you want to save the file to. Monarch Models should be saved to C:\Program Files\Monarch\Models, click
"Save." The MS Access database should be saved to C:\ProgramFiles\Monarch\Export, click
"Save."
