Audit Services

Audit Services performs the audit and approval functions as statutorily-required of both the County Auditor-Controller and County Superintendent of Schools. Their primary function is to audit for legality, accuracy and proper authorization of commercial vendor payments, public works payments, journal entries, cash journal vouchers and interfund transfers submitted by the school districts. They also examine and approve both contracts and vendor exclusion databases.

District Financial Services will be conducting Fast Track Workshops!
The Fast Track program was designed to streamline the payment processing of construction contracts. The workshops review the public works audit documentation manual and the Fast Track program requirements. For those districts interested in participating in the Fast Track Program, it is a requirement of the program that the Chief Business Official and Purchasing Director attend one workshop. The Purchasing Director and CBO are only required to attend one workshop; however you are welcome to attend a refresher at any time. Staff members responsible for processing Fast Track payments are also encouraged to attend.
