Subsidized Child Care Payment Programs

Subsidized Child Care Payment Programs offer child care to income-eligible families needing child care in San Bernardino County. The Subsidized Payment Programs are available to families needing child care that qualify on the basis of income and need. Child care is provided while the parent is working, in a training program or school, or briefly seeking employment.

The KidsNCare Subsidized Payment Programs are parental choice programs. Parents select the most appropriate child care for his/her needs from a full range of licensed child care centers, family child care homes, or they may choose a license-exempt provider.

Child Adult Care Food Program
(909) 384-8025
The Child Adult Care Food Program (CCAFP) is a federally funded program of Food and Nutrition Services (USDA). The California State Department of Education is the administrative agency for the CCAFP in California.

The objectives of the CCAFP are: to improve the diet of children age twelve and younger by providing the children with nutritious well balanced meals, develop good eating habits that will last through later years, and to train child care providers in good nutrition practices.

The CCAFP is available to licensed child care providers in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Child care providers must feed children according to USDA guidelines, complete and submit all required paperwork, attend one yearly nutrition training workshop and allow Food Program Specialists to monitor meal services at least three times during the fiscal year.
